Against a moody, fume-filled backdrop and a trio of eighties muscle cars, three models – each clad in a different brilliant hue – fight it out in a slow motion battle across a barren wasteland.

This is the first look at the new coloured denim range from Australian label ksubi, a thrillingly tense action sequence in Kolors, a film directed by Daniel Askill. Chased by the animalistic cars, Bambi Northwood-Blythe, Cisco Gorrow and Heidi Harrington-Johnson run and soar athletically, with every movement – and colour – captured at 1,500 frames per second.
The 2004 coloured-denim trend has been widely accredited to ksubi, with the label launching the style’s worldwide return on 5th May. White, blue, orange, green, black, purple, red, plum, aged blue, aged green, aged yellow, aged black and aged pink go on sale along with the classic unisex ksubi t-shirts. The vibrant denim is available in a number of fits: for men in the ‘Chitch’ and ‘Van Winkle’ and women’s ‘Super Spray On,’ Super Skinny’ and ‘Super Skinny’ short.
