YOOX DESIGN – from Salone to your front room
19/05/2011 20:13:03
Displayed at last month’s Salone del Mobile fair, YOOX DESIGN fans no longer need to defer their interiors shopping until September. The range of contemporary, highly desirable lines are already available – no more impatient waiting. Glass get’s a sneak preview.

ALESSICHAIR by David Chipperfield                                    Bac One chair designed by Jasper Morrison.

From Alessi, the ALESSICHAIR by David Chipperfield  offers simplicity of form and subtlety of colour, whilst retaining utmost functionality. Meanwhile, two new pieces enter the Bac family at Cappellini,  designed with lightness in mind to complement the original armchairs, with the instantly recognisable Bac One and Bac Two designed by Jasper Morrison.

Brick Lamp  from Memphis Milano                                 Whiteshell by Salvatore Indriolo for Zanotta

The surprising Brick Lamp  from Memphis Milano, fits right in with those familiar with designer Richard Wood’s work: the Red Bricks range comprising lamps, tables and bookshelves. By Salvatore Indriolo for Zanotta, the award-winning Whiteshell  brings cool, organic forms with stylistic Scandinavian modernity to storage units.

POUR & SERVE; POUR by Established & Sons                            Richard Woods for Established & Sons canvas bag

New from Established & Sons comes POUR & SERVE; POUR,  a range of decanters inspired by old-style oilcans, and SERVE, a softly elegant tray formed from existing bent wood parts. And if all the interiors are too much and the mind wanders back to fashion accessories, Richard Woods for Established & Sons had the answer with his vivid, playful canvas bag. .
